Charles D. Finley - Attorney
"In elementary, junior high and high school I always stood up for people that were being picked on by others." And with that the foundation was set for Charles Finley to become an attorney.
Charles really found his niche in college at Central State University in Oklahoma where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety. "I have basically always been concerned with the safety and well-being of others. In fact, my final decision to become an attorney was made during a product safety course." During that course, Charles learned how hard working shipyard workers and their families had been knowingly exposed to deadly Asbestos- containing materials and dangerous working conditions during World War II. "I wanted to be in a position to make a difference."
After graduation, Charles served on active duty in the U.S. Army where he was a designated Safety Officer. After his service, he worked at the Baylor College of Medicine in the Office of Environmental Health and Safety for 4 years becoming a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Like any military personnel, former or current, Charles is driven by "The Mission;" which in his mind is "achieving the best outcome for my clients in any given scenario." This also is one of Williams Kherkher Hart Boundas' missions, making sure that our clients receive the best possible outcome and that they feel supported. "My best days come when I see the smiles on my client's faces."
Music, movies, electronics and automobiles are passions other than the law, but he does not have much time for the hobbies. "I have a hot rod sitting in my garage which I have not been able to give much attention."
Charles is married with three children, 2 adults and a high schooler and enjoys his family very much. He is an avid supporter in his church and various ministries helping to keep him and his family grounded while giving him the compass to put his clients first in his practice. "I tell my clients that I work for them and will always counsel them to make the decisions that are in the best interest of them and their families."
