Charles D. Finley – Attorney
“In elementary, junior high and high school I always stood up for people that were being picked on by others.” And with that the foundation was set for Charles Finley to become an attorney.
Charles really found his niche in college at Central State University in Oklahoma where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety. “I have basically always been concerned with the safety and well-being of others. In fact, my final decision to become an attorney was made during a product safety course.” During that course, Charles learned how hard working shipyard workers and their families had been knowingly exposed to deadly Asbestos-containing materials and dangerous working conditions. Charles is a Safety Professional and has been a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers for almost 20 years. “I have always wanted to be in a position to make a difference.”
After graduation, Charles served on active duty in the U.S. Army where he was involved in medical logistics and was a designated Safety Officer. After his service, he worked for 4 years at Baylor College of Medicine in the Office of Environmental Safety. Charles has been in a number of positions that primarily focus on the protection of people.
Like any military personnel, former or current, Charles is driven by “Mission First; People Always” which is “achieving the best outcome for my clients in any given scenario.” This also is one of Williams Kherkher Hart Boundas’ missions, making sure that our clients receive the best possible outcome and that they feel supported. “I make the decision to protect people, property and the environment on a daily basis but my best days come when my clients tell me that I have made a difference in their lives.”
Charles is married and has three adult children. He is an avid supporter of his church and other various ministries.
