Eloy E. Gaitan, Attorney
"I enjoy advocating for individuals that have been injured" says Eloy Gaitan. "I enjoy knowing I can help in alleviating the stressors that will impact the family unit when a member is hurt by someone's negligence."
Eloy knows this well from experience. In fact, his first hand experience in this is one of the main factors he considered when deciding to become a lawyer. "My father was injured when I was in junior high school. I have first hand knowledge of the hardships that a family endures when the sole bread winner is unable to bring in a weekly check." Eloy continues, "The daily routines, the stability and the security all change and place families in turmoil."
Upon his graduation from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, Eloy went on to pursue a law degree at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. From there, Eloy went on to practice law privately for a number of years. "My hardest day was the first day of my first trail, but my best day was that first verdict. You see, it is not the law or how scholarly we are, but showing a sense of sincerity and having conviction in what you are doing. That compassion carries through."
Private practice was a bit different for Eloy though compared to what he is doing now at Williams Kherkher Hart Boundas Law Firm, LLP. Eloy, the attorneys of Williams Kherkher and their clients are all the beneficiaries of unprecedented resources, including a staff of over 100. "We are fortunate here to have an abundant amount of resources in representing our clients. Our eagerness to tap into these resources is to the advantage of all our clients."
When he is not practicing the law, Eloy is spending quality time with his wife CC and their growing family. When he can find an extra moment or two, he is out riding his Fatboy motorcycle but even then, he is thinking about his cases, "Trial is a battle of strategy."
Eloy enjoys helping his clients and their families and he has a piece of advice for anyone who may feel like they have been wronged. "Don't be scared of the legal system."
