When most people think of the law, they think of criminal, family and personal injury. Those three are generally discussed on shows such as Law & Order, Boston Legal, or taking it back some years - LA Law and Ally McBeal....but there are all sorts of other issues to debate out there. As an attorney who primarily focuses on Pharmaceutical/Mass Tort Litigation, Personal Injury and Labor & Employment, I get a kick out of reading articles about cases completely removed from my day to day practice of the law. For example, I just stumbled upon an article about the British court actually deciding Pringles are in fact potato chips and therefore taxable. Who knew there was a debate about how much potato is actually in a Pringle? Apparently, if the product contains a certain percentage of potato, it's considered a taxable item. Sounds like this is an issue for Eli Stone.
