John F. Kennedy Elementary School mentoring program

Williams Kherkher is proud to have dedicated eleven years to mentoring children at the John F. Kennedy Elementary School, an at-risk school on Houston’s north side.

Working through the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and Houston Trial Lawyers Foundation, Williams Kherkher employees adopt one or two classrooms each year and devote their own time to weekly visits, as well as sponsoring field trips, tutoring, giving Christmas gifts and participating in other special projects.

In August of 2005 and August of 2006, the Houston Trial Lawyers Foundation donated more than 100 school uniforms to J.F.K. Elementary; Williams Kherkher’s managing partner, John Eddie Williams, Jr., provided funding for half the uniforms.

For the past four years, Williams Kherkher has helped purchase and distribute Christmas gifts to every one of the school’s 800 students.
