Williams Family Places Record $210,000 Wine Bid for Young Texans

HOUSTON (March 6, 2011) – John Eddie Williams and his wife Sheridan joined a group of Houstonians in contributing to the winning $210,000 wine bid at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo last weekend.

Each year, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo hosts a wine competition to raise money for Texas youth and education initiatives. John Eddie Williams, Jr., the founder and managing partner of Williams Kherkher law firm, is proud to participate in the yearly education fundraiser to help young Texans across the state.

The Williams family also took part in last year’s winning bid, contributing to a $120,000 donation at the 2010 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to fund Texas education scholarships. This year their winning bid was for the Grand Champion Best of Show wine, the Alexander Valley Vineyards Cyrus, from Alexander Valley Vineyards, 2006.
