Williams Kherkher Staff Commemorate Constitution Day
On September 16, 2011, the Williams Kherkher IT Director Rick Jenkins went to local elementary schools to commemorate Constitution day by reading A More Perfect Union by Betsy Maestro. The Houston Bar Association organized the readings to help the students gain a better understanding of the Constitution and its importance to Americans.
Constitution Day is a holiday recognized by the United States of America and intended to honor the adoption of the Constitution by the founding fathers. By bringing this information to young students, Mr. Jenkins was able to help them appreciate this important event in US history.
