Williams Kherkher Sponsors Justice John Paul Stevens Event
Former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens was in Houston on November 16 for a Williams Kherkher-sponsored interview event. Justice Stevens brought his casual charm and his quick wit to the engagement, fielding questions about everything from his Supreme Court tenure that spanned four decades to his childhood spent rooting for his hometown team, the Chicago Cubs.
In addition to discussing his own impressive career, Justice Stevens told the audience what he thought it took to be a good lawyer. “Develop honesty and intellectual integrity,” he said. “Remember your word is good.”
