Fen-Phen Lawyer, Fenphen Attorney

On September 15, 1997, the manufacturers of Pondimin (fenfluramine) and Redux (dexfenfluramine), one of the most popularly prescribed weight loss products in history, withdrew the treatments from the market. This action was taken upon the request of the FDA, following the discovery of prevalent heart valve problems in people who used these products. Pondimin and Redux are known to cause Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH), a rare and very serious lung disease.

Fenfluramine and dexfenfluramine were often used in combination with another appetite suppressant, phentermine, and were commonly known as fen-phen or fenphen. Phentermine alone does not seem to be linked to any health problems.

Our law firm is currently handling hundreds of lawsuits due to PPH caused by Pondimin, Redux or or fen-phen. If you've been affected, our lawyers are here to help you start the litigation process.

If a loved one has died from PPH from fen-phen, you also may have a case.
