What is Chantix?

Chantix is a prescription medicine, manufactured and distributed by the pharmaceutical giant, Pfizer, which is used to help smokers end their nicotine addiction. Introduced in 2006, studies show that Chantix is 44% effective in achieving smoking cessation and 13% more effective than other leading medicines. Despite these positive attributes, Chantix has several negative side effects that can lead to serious medical problems. As with any medicine, Chantix should never be used with alcohol. Doctors also advise not to mix Chantix with the use of any other smoking cessation drug.
