Authorities are releasing more details about a head-on collision crash that killed at least 12 individuals and injured three more. The collision happened on U.S. 83 outside of Garner State Park, which is about 70 miles west of San Antonio. The bus collided with a pickup truck but the exact cause of the crash is still unknown.
The church bus, carrying elderly members of the First Baptist New Braunfels Church in New Braunfels was returning from a 3-day retreat at the Alto Frio Baptist Encampment when the accident occurred.

Authorities in Biloxi, Mississippi have confirmed at least three fatalities and numerous individuals were injured when a 50-person bus was struck by a train at 2:12 p.m. today. The accident happened at the Main Street railroad crossing in Biloxi, when the eastbound train collided with a northbound charter bus, according to the Biloxi Sun Herald.
