Williams Family Has Donated $1.2 million to Goodfellows Charity

A Houston couple is putting their hearts and wallets to work this holiday season, donating $200,000 to the Houston Chronicle’s Goodfellows program to buy toys for underprivileged children. The donation marks the fourth consecutive year that Houston attorney and philanthropist John Eddie Williams Jr. and his wife, Sheridan, have donated $200,000 to Goodfellows. The Williams family, including daughters Lauren Clark and Kristen Nix, has given a total of $1.2 million to Goodfellows over the last eight years. “It really makes me feel good to see all these kids, and it makes me feel good to think that Sheridan and I can be a part of helping to give them toys for Christmas,” said Williams, managing partner of Williams Kherkher law firm. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community.” …
